CUMIN CREAM QUAIL (GF, D)

CUMIN CREAM QUAIL | makes 6 quails - about 3 servings |

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 quails
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

STEPS

  1. prepare the quails by filleting them (split them down the breastbone and flatten them out)
  2. make a mixture of heavy cream, cumin powder, salt, black pepper, red chili powder, and lemon juice
  3. marinate your filleted quails
  4. pan fry in olive oil - this should only take a couple of minutes on each side
