DIL AND ALMOND SALMON (GF, N)

DIL AND ALMOND SALMON | makes 1 large filet of salmon - about 4 servings |

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 filet of salmon - about 1 kg
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • sea salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 bunch dill

STEPS

  1. place  the salmon on a baking dish, skin side down
  2. make a mixture of the honey, brown sugar, sea salt, black pepper, red chili powder, crushed red pepper, olive oil and rub in onto the salmon
  3. toss sliced almonds on top
  4. cover the salmon with a lot of dill
  5. squeeze a lime over the salmon
  6. put some sliced butter on top of the dill
  7. broil in the oven for a short time
  8. take off and toss the dill before serving
