SALMON GRILLLED CHEESE (GF, D)

SALMON GRILLLED CHEESE | makes 2 servings |

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices gluten free bread
  • 2 slices smoked gouda cheese
  • 2 slices Leicester cheddar cheese
  • alfalfa sprouts
  • smoked salmon
  • black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

STEPS

  1. set out all of your ingredients, because some of these steps go fast
  2. butter both sides of your bread
  3. heat a nice solid pan and toss on your bread, and keep it on medium-low heat, this way the bread will get crispy without getting burnt
  4. layer slices of your gouda on one side and slices of cheddar on the other
  5. when you see the cheese starting to melt, toss on some slices of smoked salmon on one side, and sprouts on the other
  6. crack some fresh black pepper (no salt, the salmon and cheese will be plenty salty)
  7. sandwich both slices and press down with a spatula until you see some cheese oozing out the sides, flip and repeat
  8. cut diagonally (I'm convinced it tastes better this way)
