SHRIMP AND OATS (S, GF, D)

SHRIMP AND OATS | makes 2 servings |

INGREDIENTS

  • about 10-15 shrimp depending on size
  • 2 cups steel cut oats
  • 1/4 cup smoked gouda
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • himalayan salt to taste
  • black pepper
  • 1.5 tsp paprika
  • 2 eggs

STEPS

  1. take your fancy oats and boil them to perfection (the amount of water you use will depend on the type of oats you are making)
  2. toss the butter in a separate pan and season it with salt and black pepper, then and paprika
  3. toss in your shrimp and cook until about 75% done
  4. toss your eggs into your oats mixture and stir while the eggs are going in
  5. now toss your smoked gouda and shrimps with the buttery sauce into your oats and mix (you will end up with a gooey mixture of oats, cheese, and shrimp)
  6. serve hot
