STUFFED CABBAGE WITH CHICKEN AND FETA | makes 4 stuffed cabbages | 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 ground chicken
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • cumin
  • dhuniya powder
  • garam masala
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • garlic
  • red onion
  • tomatoes
  • cabbage
  • twine

STEPS

  1. heat olive oil and some butter in a pot
  2. add crushed and chopped garlic
  3. add chopped onion
  4. add red chili powder, cumin, dhuniya powder, salt, black pepper and garam masala and cook
  5. add chicken kheema and cook until almost done
  1. boil cabbage leaves until they are pliable
  2. lay out cabbage and place kheema in the middle and add some feta to the middle
  3. wrap tightly with twine (or floss)
  4. place in the oven to finish cooking
  5. lightly blend fresh tomatoes, salt, pepper and cumin
  6. spoon some sauce on the cabbage
