SWEET YOGURT (V, GF, D, N)

SWEET YOGURT | makes 6 servings \ 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large tub (1kg) greek yogurt 
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (depending on your taste)
  • 3 pears
  • 3 black plums
  • 1 handful almonds
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water

STEPS

  1. slice up your plums and pears uniformly 
  2. in a heavy pan, heat some butter and add your fruit, the goal here is to caramelize them a bit, you won't need any sugar if your fruit is ripe
  3. add some orange blossom water to balance some of the flavors
  4. drizzle a little bit of condensed milk on the fruit and cook a bit prior to letting it cool, this will give you a little crunch on the fruit
  5. plop your yogurt into a bowl and whisk it to make it more airy
  6. slowly add condensed milk to the yogurt until it tastes almost sweet enough to call it a dessert
  7. take some of the fruit and chop it up into smaller pieces, then mix this with 1/3 of your yogurt
  8. layer in the following way: 1/3 yogurt, 1/3 yogurt and fruit mix, 1/3 yogurt, top with the remaining fruit and garnished with some toasted slivered almonds
