WALNUT LAMB CHOPS | makes 22 lamb rib chops |


  • 22 rib lamb chops
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp walnuts
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp whole cumin
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp garam masala


  1. make your tasty marinade of yogurt, whole cumin, black pepper, sea salt, ground walnuts, chopped garlic, garam masala, and lime juice by mixing them all together and smothering your lamb with it
  2. marinade for as long as you’d like
  3. use a cast iron grill pan and cook each side until you get a beautiful brown color
  4. slice some butter and place it on the lamb chops and move your pan into the oven, cover it and finish cooking - you are shooting an internal temperature of about 160F
  5. serve with a coriander yogurt chutney and a mung daal fettuccine (made from mung, not flour)
