ZA'ATAR AND GREEN CHILLIES ON EGGS (GF)

ZA'ATAR AND GREEN CHILLIES ON EGGS | makes 2 servings |

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 large green chili 
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • 1 tsp za'atar
  • 2 plum tomatoes

STEPS

  1. thinly slice a green chili 
  2. in a small pan, heat the butter and toss in the green chili 
  3. cook until the chilis brown
  4. add about 1/2 tsp za'atar
  5. fry the eggs in olive olive
  6. when the eggs are about 75% done, drizzle the chili butter mixture on top and finish cooking
  7. sprinkle with za'atar and salt
  8. serve with a grilled tomato
